Rationale
- The lifemusic training is based upon an approach which maintains that music is for everyone - a birthright.
- No previous musical training is required to undertake the course.
- The therapeutic and healing qualities of music can be accessed by everyone.

Methods
The lifemusic training is experiential in delivery but is based on secure and well tested theoretical foundations which are introduced throughout the programme. The learning methods are designed to develop skills without stress. Methods of improvisation and communication are introduced through practice but the training also includes written feedback and support. Many of the ideas can be found in Rod Paton’s book “Living Music”.
